Outline:

You are examining Si- or thin film solar cells? You’re analyzing structural defects on wafers? You’re responsible for quality control of flat panel displays?

Then you know, that in materials microscopy the size of the sample space is one of the determining criteria. Axio Imager Vario, the new addition to the tried-and-tested Axio Imager system series, does justice to these demands. This microscope stands for maximum precision combined with the largest possible sample space, in research, development and quality assurance – involving solar cells, wafers or flat panel displays, for example.

This 60-minute interactive Webinar will discuss:
- new features of Axio Imager Vario
- typical applications for Axio Imager Vario
- benefits and potential applications of Axio Imager Vario

Presented by:
Dr. Wolf Jockusch
Product Manager, Industrial Division, Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH

After gaining his Doctorate from Cambridge University in 2004, Wolf spent four years as an academic scientist at the Max Planck Institute of Experimental Medicine concentrating on the field of neuronal signal transduction.
In the course of his work he employed a variety of microscopic imaging techniques including quantitative analysis of microstructures by means of fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy and TEM.
Since 2008 Wolf is working for Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH as a product manager for upright microscopes specialising in materials microscopy.
