LOT Oriel to distribute Phenom in UK/Eire

LOT-Oriel Ltd has been appointed as agents for the exciting new imaging system from FEI Company. Named the Phenom, this is a completely new imaging tool aimed at a broad range of markets and applications that bridges the gap between optical and electron microscopy. Phenom is a high resolution desktop imaging tool (up to 20,000x) with an optical camera for never-lost navigation and a high quality scanning electron microscope for detailed imaging.
Its innovative user interface and intuitive touch screen control produce superb quality images with minimal operator training. It can handle a wide range of samples with minimal preparation. Samples are loaded instantly with Phenom's patented vacuum technology. Images are saved on a USB memory stick for off-line analysis, measurements and distribution.
It only takes 15 minutes to demonstrate this remarkable microscope and the Phenom will be available around the country in the coming months. Alternatively users will be able to visit the LOT offices in Leatherhead where we will have a working Phenom available for individual demonstrations.
