Synopsis: Andor Technology has, since 2005, established itself as a leading international supplier of systems for life science microscopy. The Andor Revolution product family continues to be expanded and refined offering new tools and enhanced performance.
During this 60 minute interactive webinar we will focus on these developments and introduce: Clara, a new CCD camera, UVP-350i, a new laser platform for pulsed UV uncaging and ablation, and showcase a new technology for white light confocal imaging, which we have named "Differential Spinning Disk" (DSD).
The DSD combines structured light with spinning disk illumination and was invented by Professor Tony Wilson and colleagues at the University of Oxford. The principles of operation and excellent performance will be explained and illustrated with data taken from other white light spinning disk instruments, the DSD achieves low background and impressive optical sectioning by active rejection of out of focus light.
