11th International ELMI meeting, Alexandroupolis, Greece, 7-10 June 2011

The 11th annual meeting of the European Light Microscopy Initiative (ELMI, http://www.embl.org/elmi) will be taking place in Alexandroupolis, Greece, between the 7th and 10th of June 2011.

The place of venue is the Hotel & Conference Center Thraki Palace (http://www.thrakipalace.gr/index-en.html). ELMI was first set up in 2001 in order to promote the quickly developing field of light microscopy as a fundamental research tool for the life sciences and to strengthen the channels of communication between researchers and industry.
