Winners of the Micrograph competition

Microscopists from the University of Delaware have taken both awards at the M&M micrograph competition.

The winning images were:

1. A pseudo-coloured cryo-SEM image of gold-coated snow crystals obtained in a Hitachi S47000 SEM by:

2. A confocal microscope image of pigment cells and pollen grains in a wildflower petal obtained on a Zeiss LSM710 by:
   Rebekah R. Helton
