Thermo Scientific tools for fluorescence microscopy and high-content imaging

I visited the Thermo Scientific booth on Monday and spoke with Dr Mark Collins, Senior Manager, Marketing, Cellular Imaging & Analysis Scientific Instruments, about the fluorescence microscopy and high-content imaging tools on display.

The Thermo Scientific high-content screening (HCS) and analysis (HCA) systems enable the quantitative study of biological systems at the level of whole living cells. Thermo offers complete systems for HCS and HCA to drug discovery and systems biology researchers.

The Cellomics platform includes: ArrayScanVTI HCS Reader and hardware modules; BioApplication image analysis software; and High Content Informatics (HCi). The high-content reagent portfolio includes: Fluorescent protein-based BioImage Redistribution Assays; and Antibody-based Cellomics HCS Reagent Kits.
