Advanced Microscopy Techniques has been hard at work developing a secure data strip "fingerprint recognition" feature that encodes a variety of user information about any image. By populating fields into a data file (as long as a non-lossy image file format, such as .tiff or .bmp is used), extensive information can be encoded and drawn into an image.
A non-obtrusive gray bar, located along the bottom of the image next to the "AMT" logo, contains the encoded data as modified pixels. This permanent secure data strip contains all of the original data entered for a given image and can be viewed by, or hidden from a third party, if desired. If the image is altered in any way, the information in the strip reflects that modification.
The information from the data strip can be viewed with a wide variety of software programs, such as Adobe Photoshop.
